Scenting?

So I placed my female in with my male today to clean her cage. She did something I've never seen her do, she seemed to open her cloaca and slither around while it was open. Do female burms "scent" when they are ready to breed? Thanks in advance!

Females do that to let the male know that they are not ready to breed
