As a neonate/juvenile a Burmese can be kept in a tub or herp cage, keep in mind this is a short amount of time less than a year. After that 1 - 1.5 sq feet of space per foot of snake. A snake with less space needs much more time out of its cage. I've found 8'x2' or 6'x3' to be the most common cage sizes, personally I am using 8'x2' either will do just fine. You can find plans all over the net including this site, the difficulty level can very depending on the plans.
With that said I would suggest reading this;
http://albinoburmese.com/forums/index.php?topic=2167.0! Everything stated in this thread is reality, giant constrictors are neglected and abandoned by good caring people everyday. Its not because people don't care they just don't understand what they are getting into. My personal advice is to keep something smaller first, experience is necessary when dealing with an animal that can kill you. At a minimum make sure you are extremely well educated first and ask as many questions as you can.
I mean no insult so please don't take it wrong just trying to make sure you do what's right for you! If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.
